The iClock MIDI is a dual MIDI clock device that I created from PIC microchips running my own custom Assembly code embedded in circuitry of my own design. This device requires three inidividual circuit boards each with a embedded PIC, all running in unison. The device allows two laptops or two MIDI rigs to be synched in a way that no other MIDI clock can provide. That's why I spent the time to invent it!
Not only will it synchronize two chains of MIDI gear/software it also outputs DIN synch. So it allows one to bridge the old with the new with absoutely no lag in time due to MIDI message conversion.
The full details of how this MIDI clock device functions or what it does secifically are still a trade secret. However, I am in the process of patenting my invention and pitching it to some major gear manufacturers. If all goes as planned, you will be able to purchase one from your local music store in the near future!!!
